Fresh and New

Well, I've been a faithful reader of blogs for several months now and I finally have gotten the courage to post my first blog on my page! If that is even the right terminology, post my first blog.

As 2007 comes to a close, I am amazed at how quick life seems to speed by as I get older. I reflect on my goals that I set at the beginning of last year some of which have been accomplished and some of which have not been accomplished. It makes me more determined to get "real" this time and/or more determined to accomplish my new goals which I will set for myself for this upcoming year. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, Scott, who has been a loving, supportive, and a wonderful friend for the 21 years - soon to be 22 years of marriage. More on him later!

First, I want to say what a wonderful God I love and serve - I have been blessed with seeing His hand on my life this year and my faith is encouraged. I am in "awe" at His faithfulness and love that He's shown me - I am soooooo very grateful!

I have three wonderful kids, Brandon who will be turning 18 in 2008, Ashley who is 16 and driving, and Brittany who is 15 and started her high school career. God has blessed me with wonderful people to share life with - I am thankful for His guidance in raising my children as they face so many different pressures in our society today. Lord please continue to guide and lead them in the right direction and make wise godly choices for their lives. Well, I'll post more later! God bless all of you this upcoming year with His favor.
